Job Description

  • Ensure on-time and quality application delivery rendered by the team while enforcing compliance to IT SDLC and Governance structures.
  • Plan and manage resource deployment and capacity to each project to ensure proper support, validation of scope, requirements development, and delivery ownership.
  • Act as point of escalation for all delivery team heads and team members.
  • Ensure implementation of the proper support required for resolution of issues and risk management
  • Leadership Qualities: Demonstrated ability in managing, mentoring, and capacity planning for medium-to-large-scale teams
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to apply end-to-end project management and application delivery methodologies and to integrate business strategies and trends in technology to deliver value.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and build strong working relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Problem-solving capabilities, strong analytical skills, and flexibility to be able to handle multiple initiatives concurrently
  • Domain Knowledge in Financial Services: Understanding of key processes, products, and tools used in Consumer Banking such as loans, credit cards, checks digitization.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least 12 years of application delivery experience in the financial services industry, managing complex projects involving the implementation of digital or online-transaction solutions
  • Competency in Core Banking, Deposits, Fraud, General Ledger, or Compliance
  • Experienced in vendor management and 3rd party SI engagements
  • Has worked on front-end applications such as mobile/digital banking applications that run transactions with other 3rd party applications
  • Has working experience with Project Management tools (e.g Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Has understanding and working experience in development tools (e.g Java)
  • PMP, Scrum, or any related certification is a plus
  • Should be willing to work in Makati or Ortigas
