Job Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a cybersecurity generalist, providing expertise across various domains including information security, incident response, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with regional teams and counterparts to standardize security practices and protocols, ensuring consistency in security measures across different jurisdictions.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements to enhance the overall security posture.
  • Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, ensuring effective management and communication throughout the incident lifecycle.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on cybersecurity awareness and best practices, fostering a security-first culture within the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, applying that knowledge to strengthen organizational security measures.
  • Prepare and present reports on cybersecurity initiatives, incidents, and status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Engage with external partners, vendors, and regional governance bodies to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on multiple areas including information security, risk management, and compliance.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or comparable credentials are mandatory.
  • Excellent understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and best practices applicable to the insurance sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders across regions.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience managing cybersecurity projects or initiatives is a plus.
