Job Description

* Handle all campaign pitches assigned to you - from distilling client briefs, defining and negotiating requirements and timelines, to creating the pitch deck with strategies, creatives and content, and putting together campaign budgets and production costs
* Deliver a high-quality campaign pitch and pitch deck, including a sound strategy, solid storytelling, exciting creatives and ideas (campaign, media plan, content and artwork), and a show-stopping presentation
* Work closely with your account managers and your pitch team comprised of fellow cnampaign and creative ideators, designers, and other domain experts in the creation of the pitch
* Collaborate with relevant partner teams - content production, video and audio production, performance marketing, influencer marketing, data science, tech, programmatic, and editorial - from development of pitches, through implementation of every campaign won
* Research on market and audience data needed to inform your campaign and pitch strategy
* Develop partnerships with internal and third-party service providers, and the likes, to fulfill campaign pitch requirements
* Actively work with team leadership to ensure smooth and efficient team operations and work quality
* Aid in troubleshooting issues and concerns as requested by the team or department leadership
* Remain updated on new technologies and trends in media and marketing, working with relevant teams to test/POC new solutions that could be pitched to clients
* Other duties assigned by the direct supervisor

The Successful Applicant

  • Someone who can lead a team of 3 mid/junior strategists or researcher (potentially growing to 5 in a year's time)
  • Need very strong experience in data research (kahit desk research), and more critical is insighting (making sense of all data gathered), and making recommendations on strategy and way forward based on the insights
  • Successful candidate will be heavily involved in pitching and winning mainly creative and marketing campaigns primarily in the online/digital space
  • Successful candidate will be part of the core team of the department, and will have to participate in executive functions like reports, updates and business planning



Description of daily tasks:

  • Bridging the client (advertiser), the sales person (accounts), and the creative and solutions teams
  • Having to make sense out of what everyone is saying and the data/insights gathered, and then provide the strategic direction on how the pitch has to be structured and what the creatives have to think about
  • Building the team (recruitment and screening), train and nurture the team, and be the go-to person for all things strategy

What's on Offer

* Bachelor's degree holder with at least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Lead Strategist or Creative Lead in an advertising/marketing agency
* Advantage for those with a demonstrable track record of winning pitches and accounts
* Must have knowledge of different marketing disciplines and tactics - data-driven marketing, performance marketing, content marketing, advertising, display advertising, social media marketing, other forms of digital marketing, influencer marketing, in-person and virtual events, animation, gamification etc.
* Proficiency with basic Office software - Powerpoint, Excel, Word - a must
* Must possess the following soft skills:

o Self-starter, able to grasp instructions, ask questions, and take ownership
o Has a can-do spirit, with the ability to suggest solutions in the face of hurdles and challenges
o Attention to detail, highly organized, capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
o Curious, inquisitive, analytical
o Comfortable with ambiguity
o Able to work with teams and independently
o Desire for self-improvement and upgrading of one's skill sets
