Job Description

We are looking for Software Engineers (UI) who will manage DevOps and testing automation, supporting our Cloud Onboarding tools and products. As a UI Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing DevOps strategies, improving the software delivery pipeline, and fostering cross-team collaboration to enhance delivery efficiency and maturity.Responsibilities:

  • Strategy: Implement automation solutions aligned with the bank's DevOps strategy to enhance the software delivery pipeline.
  • Business: Engage with application delivery teams across the bank to adopt and improve DevOps pipeline solutions.
  • Processes: Implement solutions that comply with the bank's software delivery processes, security, and compliance requirements.
  • People & Talent: Collaborate with a diverse engineering team in sprint delivery, producing technical documentation, preparing training materials, and providing technical support.
  • Risk Management: Integrate the bank's risk management framework into the technology solutions being delivered.
  • Governance: Support the bank's software delivery and quality assurance framework, contributing to governance activities.
  • Regulatory & Business Conduct: Adhere to the highest standards of ethics, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and the Group Code of Conduct, and collaborate to identify and mitigate risk, conduct, and compliance matters.

The Successful Applicant

Must-haves:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development.
  • Frontend tool: React or Angular
  • DevOps: CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Ansible (preferred)
  • Automation testing: Cucumber, Selenium, & Appium
  • Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Leadership/people management



Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, TypeScript, and libraries like Web Components, Lit, Jest, and ES modules.
  • Exposure in Bootstrap, Foundation, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Knowledge of both Unix and Windows operating systems, scripting in Bash/Shell or PowerShell, and networking concepts (preferred).
