Job Description

  • Plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for machinery and equipment.
  • Monitor and manage the maintenance budget effectively to align with operational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to address technical challenges and implement solutions.
  • Supervise and train maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Analyze equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support production efficiency and overall operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in maintenance operations within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
