Job Description

  • Conduct reviews of managed care agreements to identify compliance gaps and potential risks.
  • Ensure contract language meets internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining fee schedules and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract terms, service lines, and amendments.
  • Research and summarize payer requirements and contractual conditions for internal stakeholders.
  • Keep an updated inventory of payer agreements and payment policies.
  • Communicate policy changes and provide timely updates to relevant teams.
  • Draft formal correspondence to payers regarding compliance issues or disputes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to resolve contract-related issues and discrepancies.
  • Analyze performance metrics tied to value-based arrangements; prepare dashboards and reports for leadership.
  • Support readiness assessments for alternative payment models through market analysis.
  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding contract terms and conditions with thorough research.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in managed care, healthcare analytics, or consulting.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in medical economics or related functions.
  • Proficiency in SQL; Crystal reporting experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract/document management systems (e.g., MediTract, tThrive, Symplr) is a plus.
