As part of their strategic expansion plan, they are entering new channels and regions in the Philippines.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities of the National Distributor Manager:Strategic Planning: Develop and execute national distribution strategies that align with the company's overall objectives. Identify whitespace opportunities and new channels to expand product reach.Market Expansion: Research and analyze key markets and regions across the Philippines to identify growth opportunities and under-served areas. Formulate strategies to penetrate these markets effectively.Distributor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with existing and new distributors. Serve as the key point of contact for all distributor-related matters, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategies.Channel Management: Define and implement optimal distribution channels across the country to maximize reach, sales, and profitability. Monitor and evaluate the performance of current distribution channels.Sales Growth & Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with the sales team and distributors to set targets, track sales performance, and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet or exceed growth objectives.Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and support to distributor teams to ensure alignment with product knowledge, sales techniques, and company processes.Pioneer Role: Act as a key driver in establishing new distribution channels and markets. Take ownership of the end-to-end distributor network management in a rapidly evolving market.Market Intelligence: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on distribution performance, market trends, and opportunities.The Successful Applicant The National Distributor Manager has:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.Proven experience (5+ years) in distribution management, channel management, or sales in a similar industry (FMCG, retail, or consumer goods preferred).Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify market gaps and whitespace opportunities.Experience working with distributors or external partners to achieve sales targets and operational goals.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships at various organizational levels.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a pioneer role and drive results with minimal supervision.Knowledge of the Philippine market landscape, including regional market dynamics and consumer behavior.Ability to travel nationwide as needed.
