Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the National Distributor Manager:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute national distribution strategies that align with the company's overall objectives. Identify whitespace opportunities and new channels to expand product reach.
  • Market Expansion: Research and analyze key markets and regions across the Philippines to identify growth opportunities and under-served areas. Formulate strategies to penetrate these markets effectively.
  • Distributor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with existing and new distributors. Serve as the key point of contact for all distributor-related matters, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategies.
  • Channel Management: Define and implement optimal distribution channels across the country to maximize reach, sales, and profitability. Monitor and evaluate the performance of current distribution channels.
  • Sales Growth & Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with the sales team and distributors to set targets, track sales performance, and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet or exceed growth objectives.
  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and support to distributor teams to ensure alignment with product knowledge, sales techniques, and company processes.
  • Pioneer Role: Act as a key driver in establishing new distribution channels and markets. Take ownership of the end-to-end distributor network management in a rapidly evolving market.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on distribution performance, market trends, and opportunities.

The Successful Applicant



The National Distributor Manager has:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in distribution management, channel management, or sales in a similar industry (FMCG, retail, or consumer goods preferred).
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify market gaps and whitespace opportunities.
  • Experience working with distributors or external partners to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships at various organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a pioneer role and drive results with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of the Philippine market landscape, including regional market dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Ability to travel nationwide as needed. Based in Metro Manila
