Job Description

  • Develop and manage demand forecasts for new product launches to ensure accurate planning and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, supply chain, and production, to optimise processes.
  • Analyze market trends and historical data to improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stakeholders to address supply chain gaps.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate demand planning insights to management.
  • Support the implementation of demand planning tools and systems for improved efficiency.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of demand forecasts to relevant teams.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to demand and supply chain operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful New Product Demand Planning Analyst should have:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in demand planning tools, forecasting software, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
