Job Description

Primary Responsibilities of Paid Ads Manager:

  • Creative Uploading
    • Identify advertising creative needs, formalize and request assets, track progress while also giving feedback on assets, and fully upload creative into all social media advertising channels as well as search and discovery channels for the business.
    • Including but not limited to Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Google, And other advertising channels as needed.
  • Copywriting
    • Support in writing all advertising copy for all paid advertisements during the creative upload process.
  • Reporting
    • Understand advertising channels' reporting platforms and third-party reporting tools, and generate reports for requested information of greater teams. Provide critical analysis and commentary with recommendations based on the findings.
  • General Maintenance
    • Ad account knowledge for maintenance and troubleshooting. Able to submit support tickets and review with advertising contacts regarding technical issues within ad accounts.

The Successful Applicant


  • Ad platforms -Strong experience with the following advertising platforms:
    • Meta Business Manager - Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram)
    • TikTok Business Center - TikTok Ads
    • Snapchat Business Dashboard - Snap Ads
  • Creative uploads - Experience uploading creatives within each ad platform. At a minimum, Meta and TikTok.
  • Communication - Strong conversational skills.
  • Support - Proactive resourcefulness - willing to research or get creative to find solutions or opportunities.

Nice to haves:

  • From the above's primary responsibilities:
    • Copywriting and Reporting may be nice to have. Just depends on the candidate, but far preferred as requirements.
  • Experience managing large budgets ($100k++ per month)
  • Google Ads / YouTube Shorts
  • MTA Software - TripleWhale, Northbeam, Rockerbox, etc.
  • Pixel and technical event tracking troubleshooting
  • UTM Tracking Link experience
  • Motion App or other creative analytic tools
  • Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)
  • Post Purchase Surveying (PPS)
  • Facebook Ads Library
  • TikTok Creative Center
  • CTV / OTT Advertising
  • Email / SMS Advertising
  • Advanced Reporting capabilities
  • Audience building and advanced segmentation experience
