This role leads end‑to‑end payroll projects, including system migrations, vendor transitions, and digital initiatives across multiple countries. It's an individual contributor role that partners closely with other stakeholders to to ensure compliant, on‑time, and seamless payroll delivery.

Our client is a well‑established multinational organisation in the oil and energy industry. They operate a major shared services and business support centre in the Philippines, supporting entities worldwide.

Job Description

  • Lead end‑to‑end payroll projects across regions and systems
  • Manage payroll system implementations, migrations, and transitions
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, IT, and Operations teams
  • Own project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and reporting
  • Oversee vendor management, SLAs, and delivery milestones
  • Manage data migration, parallel runs, and payroll cutover activities
  • Drive change management, communications, and training readiness
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and control requirements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and digital enablement

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Project Manager should have:

  • Strong background in project management, payroll, and system migration
  • 3-5+ years of hands‑on project management experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional communication skills
  • Exposure to multi‑country or shared services payroll environments is a plus.
