Job Description

Includes managing project-specific budgets, tracking expenses and revenues, and preparing detailed financial reports. Core duties involve monitoring project costs and profitability, ensuring financial compliance, and providing financial guidance to project managers and other stakeholders.

Core responsibilities

  • Financial management: Developing and maintaining project-specific budgets and forecasts, tracking costs, and analyzing variances against the budget.
  • Reporting: Preparing detailed financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and project cost analyses, for project managers and senior management.
  • Billing and payments: Coordinating with project managers to ensure accurate and timely client billing and managing the collection of payments.
  • Compliance: Ensuring project finances comply with accounting, tax, and contract regulations.
  • Liaison: Collaborating with project managers and other non-finance team members to provide financial insights and support their decision-making.
  • Record keeping: Maintaining accurate project accounting files and overseeing purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts.
