Job Description


  • Lead the development process from concept to completion, including site selection, feasibility studies, design development, construction, and pre-opening activities.
  • Develop project budgets, conduct financial analysis, and monitor costs throughout the development process to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, zoning laws, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Select and manage relationships with architects, contractors, consultants, and vendors involved in the development process.
  • Ensure that the design and construction meet brand standards, quality expectations, and guest experience objectives.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and cost overruns.
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, including progress reports, financial updates, and risk assessments.

The Successful Applicant


  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, real estate development, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management, real estate, or business development are beneficial.
  • At least 15 years of combined experience in project development within the hospitality industry or related fields.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and vendor management.
  • Ability to conduct financial analysis, prepare project budgets, and manage project costs effectively.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills to engage with investors, developers, owners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to interact with internal teams, external partners, and senior management.
