The quality engineer is responsible for creating and executing quality control plans and procedures, performing inspections and tests, addressing defects, and working with interdisciplinary teams to resolve quality issues.She/He will also participate in quality assurance efforts throughout new product development, supporting tasks like FMEA, DFM, and assessing process capability.

About Our Client

Our client is a US-based manufacturing company specializing in electric motorcycle production.

Job Description

  • Formulate and deploy quality control plans and procedures tailored for electrical systems and products.
  • Apply fundamental Quality tools and methodologies to pinpoint root causes, implement corrective measures, and verify their effectiveness.
  • Perform thorough inspections and tests to ensure adherence to specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and enhance overall product quality.
  • Establish and manage quality documentation and records effectively.
  • Engage actively in continuous improvement endeavors aimed at boosting quality and operational efficiency.
  • Expand expertise in automotive products by analyzing vehicle specifications, drawings, DFMEAs/PFMEAs, and other relevant part/product documentation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Graduate of Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in the use of Quality Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
  • Strong familiarity of quality problem solving tools (Fishbone Diagrams, FMEA, Scatter Diagrams, The 5 Whys, Paterso Charts).
  • Experience working in an automative manufacturing company is preferred.
  • Experience in common electrical products such as wiring harnesses, PCBA, controllers/inverters, motors, embedded systems firmware, etc.
