Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Development: Lead projects to develop new polymer membranes and enhance the performance of existing products.
  • Material Innovation: Experiment with new materials and composites to achieve desired properties such as increased durability, breathability, and environmental resistance.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Design and conduct experiments, build prototypes, and test for efficacy and safety across various use cases.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, and marketing teams to ensure products meet market needs and regulatory standards.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of all R&D processes and innovations for patents and compliance.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in material science to drive continuous innovation within the company.

The Successful Applicant

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D, preferably in manufacturing environments related to textiles, polymers, or similar materials.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and product innovation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
