We are working with a local financial institution that provides financial services to low-income Filipinos and small businesses. They focus on providing access to loans, particularly for working capital, to individuals not adequately served by traditional banking institutions.

Job Description

The Regional Manager will be planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating area-specific strategies to achieve regional targets including but not limited to collection, recovery management, branch expansion, account management, and corporate social responsibility: Branch Client Recruitment Monitoring

  • Monitor recruitment performance for the branch (Batangas) within his area of assignment.
  • Prepares a report and submits the same to the Operations Manager.
  • Implements action plan in order to sustain the good standing of performing branches and address the areas for improvement of low performing branches in his area.
  • Cascades to his Area Managers the recruitment performance standards and strategies intended to address both the current and the future exigencies.



Branch Loan Disbursement Monitoring

  • Monitor loan disbursement performance for all the branches within his area of assignment. Prepares report and submits the same to the Operations Manager.
  • Implements action plan in order to sustain the good standing of performing branches and address the areas for improvement of low performing branches in his area.
  • Cascades to the Area Managers the loan disbursement performance standards and strategies intended to address both the current and future exigencies.



Collection Monitoring

  • Analyzes and interprets daily collection performance of all the branches within his area of assignment. Prepares a report and submits the same to the Operations Manager.



Administrative targets

  • Monitors the compliance (accuracy, completeness, and timeliness) of his area with the submission of all reports required by all Extension Office units.



Branch Expansion

  • Creates a plan that is aimed at expanding the number of his branches within his area of responsibility.
  • Organizes his people for the purpose of branch expansion and identifies their key deliverables.
  • Responsible for the development and administration of Feasibility Study containing significant information such as market analysis summary, strategy, and implementation summary, management summary, and financial plan of the area.



Account Management

  • Monitors the number of new, retained, delinquent, and good paying accounts in his area.
  • Relies on his monitoring tools in managing the number of accounts (decrease or eliminate delinquent accounts and increase new accounts) to achieve the set performance standards.
  • Good facilitation on Business Continuity Plan.



Corporate Social Responsibility

  • Organizes his people for the purpose of community services and identifies their key deliverables.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of the project by checking its impact to the target audience (innovative) and to the company (suitable) as well.

The Successful Applicant

  • At least about 8 years' experience in the field of microfinance industry or any related activities or any management function.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree of any course, preferably in Business Administration or any related field.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to find pragmatic solutions that are adapted to the local context.
