Job Description

Trade Promotion Strategy & Management

  • Leads the development of the market's trade promotion strategy and annual promotion plans.
  • Partners with Marketing, Sales, Category, and Finance teams to define optimal promotional mechanics, price tiers, and ROI targets.
  • Oversees pre- and post-promotion evaluation, ensuring strong governance, clean data, and actionable insights.
  • Manages the promotional learning library and integrates insights into S&OP+ cycles.
  • Provides guidance to ensure trade investment decisions are justified, strategic, and aligned with financial expectations.



Pricing & Mix Optimization

  • Defines everyday pricing and product mix guidelines, collaborating with Marketing and Customer Marketing.
  • Leads deployment of price adjustments, ensuring accurate execution and alignment with commercial strategy.
  • ConductsSKU-level pricing analysis, interpreting competitive price movements and translating them into:
    • promotional strategies
    • ROI calculations
    • trade spend recommendations
    • channel allocation decisions across GT, MT, and E‑commerce
  • Drives mix optimization initiatives by integrating consumer, customer, and financial data to set annual mix targets.



Trade Terms & Commercial Strategy

  • Supports the design of effective trade terms frameworks that enhance profit pools and customer investment efficiency.
  • Works cross-functionally to build structure and clarity into commercial levers.



Data & Analytics Leadership

  • Performs advanced data mining, cleaning, and reconciliation to ensure accurate commercial insights.
  • Uses exceptional Excel mastery (in a non-automated environment) to build pricing models, dashboards, and analysis frameworks.
  • Ensures data integrity and visibility behind pricing, promotion, and trade spend decisions.



Cross-Functional Influence & Stakeholder Management

  • Communicates confidently with Finance, Sales, and Commercial teams, demonstrating strong business maturity.
  • Goes beyond presenting data by providing clear recommendations and strategic POVs.
  • Leads or co-leads SRM capability-building initiatives within the market.

How Success Will Be MeasuredSuccess in the role will be determined by the ability to:

  • Improve pricing strategies for new and existing SKUs across all channels.
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality commercial insights derived from clean and reliable data.
  • Strengthen trade spend management with full visibility, justification, and alignment to ROI objectives.
  • Enhance partnership with Finance by providing actionable business recommendations rather than raw analysis.
  • Support Sales and Commercial teams with data-backed decisions that uplift revenue, margin, and customer performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Revenue Management, Trade Marketing, or related FMCG roles.
  • Advanced Excel skills; capable of performing complex analysis without automated tools.
  • Hands-on experience in data mining, cleaning, and SKU-level pricing analysis.
  • Strong understanding of revenue management, promotional strategy, trade terms, and P&L levers.
  • Ability to analyze competitive pricing movements and translate insights into commercially sound strategies.
