Develop the business for the company throughout current and new sales channels, such as wholesale, food service, online and retail. This position has the responsibility of brand building and consumer experience development for either regular product or super premium product. The position reports directly to the Regional Managing Director of Asia.

Our client is one of the leading global food manufacturing companies. With an ever increasing domestic & international footprint and a large imports business, they are looking to connect with professionals having a proven experience in a Sales role, preferably with knowledge of imports. The role will deliver the overall topline responsibility for the company that is moving towards becoming a market leader in their line of business.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute a Business to Business to Consumer sales strategy and Go to Market Strategy that allows the company to meet aggressive short, mid and long-term sales targets.
  • Expand sales through new partners as well as through further development of current customer base.
  • The employee will be responsible for managing sales volume, distribution, pricing and merchandising objectives through distributor and retail partners based on defined Objectives by the Commercial Department.
  • Additional roles include customer communication, brand advocacy, forecasting and driving profitability.
  • Domestic and International travel availability needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales Manager should have:

  • International education background
  • Experience in consumer companies like Fonterra, Nestlé, Unilever, AB inBev, Redull, Danone, Tyson, Cargill, Kellogs, PepsiCo, etc.
  • At least Bachelor degree from reputable universities, major in Business and Administration field is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Sales Manager or similar, desirable perishables or consumer industries.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills along with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint).
  • Proficient in oral or written English.
