Job Description

Responsibilities of the sales manager include:



  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for the market, focusing on modern trade channels.
    • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential partnerships to drive revenue growth.
    • Set and monitor sales targets for different regions and market segments.


  2. Distributor Management:
    • Build and manage relationships with international distributors, ensuring effective distribution of our products.
    • Provide guidance and support to distributors to optimize sales performance.
    • Conduct regular performance assessments of distributors and implement improvement plans as needed.


  3. Customer Development:
    • Develop and nurture relationships with key customers in modern trade channels.
    • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions to enhance satisfaction.
    • Implement customer development initiatives to drive loyalty and long-term partnerships.


  4. Market Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct thorough market analysis, monitor competitor activities, and stay updated on industry trends.
    • Prepare regular reports on international sales performance and provide actionable insights.
    • Utilize data-driven decision-making to enhance sales effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

The Sales Manager must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in international sales within the FMCG sector, with a focus on modern trade.
  • Demonstrated experience in distributor management and customer development.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of modern trade channels and market dynamics.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on market data.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the FMCG industry, including market trends in the Phlippines
