The client is a multinational FMCG focusing on frozen food looking to further expnd their business in the Philippines.

Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for:

New Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the frozen food sector.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and trends in the industry.



Client Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring clients' needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.



Market Expansion:

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Increase market share by introducing new products and services to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment with market needs and trends.



Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.

The Successful Applicant

The Sales Manager has a:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and account management within the frozen food sector.\
  • Experience in managing distributors and food service accounts
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and managing key accounts and driving new business.
  • Strong understanding of the frozen food market, including key players, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
