This role will be a regional leadership position and you will be responsible in leading a cross-functional team to successfully achieve business outcomes. This opportunity will oversee the vision, mission, and targets of the team as well as necessary metrics.

Job Description

As a Sales & Strategy Head, you are responsible for the following:

  • Collaborates with customer segment leads, Go-To-Market Managers, and other key stakeholders to establish short and long term strategies and objectives for the team.
  • Ensures financial targets are met, removing any obstacles to achieving KPIs.
  • Oversees opportunities, driving team performance by setting examples and maintaining proper work flow (account planning, TAL).
  • Take responsibility for the team's revenue goals and holds members accountable for achieving them.
  • Coordinates daily tasks and activities, both within and outside the team, ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies.
  • Has a deep understanding of the market, customers, and products, and transfers this expertise to the team.
  • Acts as a hands-on coach, mentor, and leader, guiding sales activities, coaching, and distributing workload effectively.
  • Oversees the team's pipeline management and drives growth within the specific verticals or segments.
  • Monitors team performance, providing regular feedback and guidance.
  • Serves as the primary contact for liaising with support teams (legal, finance, etc.) to facilitate deals.
  • Provides direction and support during market segmentation activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10-15 years of tenure is a sweet spot.
  • Some sort of software/solution selling background experience is required (specifically SaaS, managed services, software, etc.).
  • Background in setting up strategy in a sales perspective.
  • Having been able to successfully close deals with enterprise BFSIs, retail, and telco accounts is a big plus.
  • A to Z sales from initial point of contract all the way to negotiations and closure of an opportunity.
