Senior Accountant (based in Cambodia, Thailand, or US)

The Senior Accountant (based in Cambodia, Thailand, or US) will be handling US GAAP and international tax laws. Specific responsibilities to include:

* Assists in preparing the company's annual budget based on analysis of company's past and present financial performance, economic trends, and annual financial strategic plan to forecast future revenues and expenditures.
* Prepares monthly, quarterly, annual, and as- needed balance sheets based on financial information detailing current assets, fixed assets, asset- depreciation schedules, current liabilities, and long-term liabilities.
* Prepares monthly, quarterly, annual, and as-needed Profit and Loss Statements based on financial information detailing revenues and expenditures for various accounting periods.
* Prepares various cash-management reports (weekly cash position/projections, annual cash flow projections); profit-analysis reports, including periodic financial reports comparing actual costs with budgeted costs; cost accounting reports detailing costs of operations for various services and operational components of the company's operations; and prepares other as-needed financial reports of gross-profit margin, net- profit margin, and overall cost efficiency and profitability of the company's operations.
* Oversees the company's bookkeeping function by the company's three bookkeeping staff in compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to account on the company's general ledger and in distributing expenditures, encumbrances, receipts and receivables.
* Prepares the monthly Gross Receipts Tax Returns, CNMI and Federal quarterly wage reports, and payroll tax distributions.
* Prepares or oversees the preparation by the bookkeeping staff of the payroll and payroll tax distributions.
* Plans and implements improvements to accounting and accounting- control procedures.
* Examines and evaluates financial and information systems and recommends controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
* Documents business transactions and audits contracts and other financial transactions to substantiate the transactions prior to settlement.
* Supports proper internal accounting controls and maintains fiscal soundness.
* Assist in preparing audits.
* Other duties as assigned.
