It is known for its strong focus on technical excellence, process discipline, and continuous improvement, while offering a flexible hybrid work model.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities for Senior Fund AccountantAnalyze assigned funds' performance on a monthly basis, understand client strategies, and stay informed on market developments.Gain and apply knowledge of various financial instruments including equities, bonds, swaps, options, FX, mortgages, financing, and futures.Review and process all investor movements, ensuring compliance with procedures, SLAs, and fund formation documents.Accurately book investor activity into the system and ensure adherence to client documentation and relevant accounting standards.Review and price portfolios in line with firm and fund pricing policies and industry standards.Reconcile positions and securities to broker statements, researching and resolving any breaks between accounting records and broker reports.Establish, monitor, and refine operational processes, including defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and performing daily/monthly audits of work.Prepare and review GAAP financial statements and review calculations of partner allocations, management fees, and performance fees.The Successful ApplicantWhat Makes a Successful CandidateBachelor's/College Degree in Accounting (or equivalent professional qualification).Experience in Fund Accounting, preferably with a Fund Administration firm.Strong understanding of the preparation and review of GAAP financial statements and familiarity with annual audit processes and testing.Solid experience with partner allocations and calculation of management and performance fees.High attention to detail, strong control mindset, and ability to strictly follow procedures and internal controls.Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and consistently meet tight deadlines.Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to interact with global stakeholders.Willing to work on a night shift and in a hybrid setup, reporting to the Pasay office 2-4 times per month as required.What's on OfferThe Senior Fund Accountant role offers a compelling opportunity to deepen expertise in global fund accounting and complex financial instruments.
