Job Description

As a Senior Sales Manager - FMCG, you will be responsible for leading and managing our sales operations in the Philippines. Your expertise in distributor operations, field sales, channel development, and shopper marketing will be crucial in identifying and maximizing opportunities for growth. You will play a key role in developing sales strategies, driving revenue, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets globally.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive their success.
  • Oversee distributor operations, including selection, onboarding, and performance management, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop and implement channel development plans, including identifying and engaging with strategic partners and distributors to expand market reach.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop shopper marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness and increase product visibility at the point of sale.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and customers, fostering partnerships to drive sales growth and maximize market penetration.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure alignment and operational excellence.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales leadership roles within the consumer goods industry, with a focus on global markets.
  • Extensive experience in distributor operations, field sales, channel development, and shopper marketing.
  • Hands-on approach to sales management, with a track record of driving results and exceeding targets.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and market dynamics.
