We are seeking a skilled Solutions Architect to design and implement innovative solutions in the Technology & Telecoms industry. This role is based in BGC and requires expertise in creating and optimizing technology systems to meet business needs.

Job Description

  • Develop and design architectural solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document technical specifications and project goals.
  • Ensure the integration of systems, applications, and platforms for seamless operation.
  • Provide expert guidance on technology strategies and best practices.
  • Assess existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Support project teams by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the Technology & Telecoms industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Solutions Architect should have:

  • At least 15 years of total experience and with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Solutions Architecture.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing distributed microservices with reliability and scalability in mind.
  • Deep understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem, preferably with EKS in production.
  • Expertise in API design for internal services and partner integrations.
  • Solid experience with Pub/Sub architectures, ideally using Kafka as the backbone for real-time messaging.
  • Experience architecting in Amazon Web Services AWS using cloud services.
  • Strong background in infrastructure automation, GitOps, and CI/CD best practices.



Tech Stack:

  • Cloud Platform: AWS (with a focus on Elastic Kubernetes Service - EKS
  • Container Orchestration: Kubernetes
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
  • Deployment Automation: ArgoCD
  • Message Broker: Kafka (event streaming and asynchronous messaging)
  • Database: DynamoDB (NoSQL)
  • CI/CD: GitLab CI
  • Languages/Frameworks: (Optional) Java, Go, Python (experience with any is a plus)
