Job Description

* Be conversant and knowledgeable in key market and industry trends which impact his/her assigned portfolio and demonstrate thought leadership by continuously pitching new ideas or insights.
* Anticipate and identify client opportunities through thorough analysis of the client's financials, emerging themes from client service reviews and strategic account planning in collaboration with the customer, coverage team and/or other business units
* Maintain regular interaction and nurture relationships with key client contacts and internal stakeholders to ensure that we deliver a consistent solution for the customer
* Upon identification of opportunities and client priorities, will be responsible for marketing and selling of the appropriate domestic and cross border liquidity and cash management solutions to his/her assigned portfolio consisting of multinationals, local corporates and financial institutions.
* Be responsible for meeting financial and non-financial key performance indicators and have end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle from opportunities identification, ideas or solutions pitching, commercial proposal preparation, securing customer's mandate and handover to support teams for implementation and execution. The Sales Manager is expected to uphold the highest standards for customer solutioning to ensure fair and desired outcomes for the customer and the bank.
* Develop and enhance the brand by delivering high quality client content (ex. client case studies or articles, client academies), marketing events and/or representing the company in industry associations or forums
* Provide post-deal reviews to aid future capabilities development

The Successful Applicant

* Commercial and Global Banking Experience, a Global Liquidity / Cash Management related background would be helpful
* Must possess good sales / marketing and presentation skills.
* Ability to understand a customer's business and the fundamentals of running a business
* Good level of business acumen and commercial awareness, including economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory issues
* Ability to interact with business customers at all levels
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills
* Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions.
* Excellent range of communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations
* Strong analytic skills
* Must be able to utilise sound judgement and have the ability to make informed decisions.
* Must be willing to accept sales and marketing focused role. The company provides training to be able to pick up the relevant skills / knowledge required to perform the Sales function effectively. In addition, guidance will be provided by the more senior persons in the team, especially, Sales Team Lead in bringing the person up the curve.
* Successfully complete all global mandatory training courses and post course assessments
