The Tech Lead of Solutions Engineering should have an extensive expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of both mobile app and Java (backend) developers, providing technical guidance, and driving the development of high-quality solutions.

Job Description

  • Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define technical solutions.
  • Architect, design, and implement scalable and maintainable solutions following Clean Architecture principles.
  • Translate banking business requirements into technical specifications and provide input on architecture and design decisions.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of codebase through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Drive performance optimization efforts to improve the performance and efficiency of Java applications.
  • Integrate Java applications with RESTful APIs and backend services, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
  • Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and perform debugging to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of banking software applications.
  • Utilize Git for version control, branching, merging, and collaboration among team members.
  • Use Jira or similar project management tools for agile project planning, issue tracking, and collaboration.
  • Lead Agile teams, conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in solution design, architecture, and technical leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience with agile development practices and project management.
  • Proficiency in Java Programming: Strong understanding of Java syntax, language features, and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Java Development Frameworks: Familiarity with popular Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate for building robust and scalable applications.
  • Strong understanding of clean architecture principles, SOLID principles, and domain-driven design (DDD).
  • Database Management: Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL or Oracle, and proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
  • RESTful Web Services: Understanding of RESTful architecture and experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using frameworks like Spring MVC.
  • Understanding of Kotlin programming language and modern Android development practices.
