Job Description

  • Drive digital transformation by developing innovative solutions that stay ahead of market trends, while understanding stakeholder needs and creating scalable, adaptable systems
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Engineering, Head of Product, and other stakeholders to define product release roadmaps and timelines
  • Lead the development squad, providing guidance and suggestions to ensure effective team performance and project delivery
  • Foster a problem-solving culture by initiating ideas and solutions to overcome challenges and drive team success
  • Manage the user story backlog, providing sizing recommendations and ensuring readiness for future sprints
  • Ensure coding quality meets the team's standards and aligns with project goals
  • Contribute to the design and development of complex systems and architecture

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong experience and expertise in backend OOP languages, particularly Node.js or Java, and open-source technologies
  • Proficient in working with relational databases and querying using SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Familiar with GitOps environments, such as ArgoCD, Kubestack, or similar tools
  • Experience in automating code deployments using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar platforms
  • Skilled in container technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or similar solutions
  • Knowledgeable in complex systems design, with an understanding of the latest open API standards and service-oriented architecture
