The client is a multi-regional financial technology company, focusing on bridging the gap between people and finance by taking advantage of the latest digital financial technologies. The company has a presence across six markets and has over 10 million monthly users.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct security risk assessments and define information security requirements on projects, existing business and technology processes, cloud-based applications/infrastructure, and other types of information systems.
  • Identify security operation gaps, processes, associated risks, and mitigation strategies with outsourced vendors and partners.
  • Define, collect, and report technology Key Risk Indicators and metrics that are relevant for management view.
  • Evaluate trends from defined KRIs/KCIs and compliance metrics to identify improvement in IT/Business processes and procedures.
  • Support all markets operating in the region with regard to security requirements, regulatory requirements, penetration, and vulnerability findings.
  • Partner with application and platform/infrastructure teams to ensure risk areas are properly and effectively mitigated.

The Successful Applicant

Successful Candidate Should Have:

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant working experience performing information security risk assessment, preferably in a start-up or enterprise environment.
  • Understanding of industry frameworks - NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2, etc.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle and IT controls over different operating systems and cloud technologies
  • The following certifications are a Plus: CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CSS, CCSP
