Job Description

Strategic Trade Marketing Execution:

  • Develop and execute trade marketing strategies tailored for the on-premise channel to increase brand visibility and sales.
  • Identify key growth opportunities within the channel and align plans to leverage them.
  • Collaborate with the brand marketing team to ensure trade marketing initiatives align with brand positioning and guidelines.



2. Channel Development and Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with on-premise accounts, including bars, restaurants, clubs, and hotels.
  • Work closely with distributors and key account managers to enhance execution at the account level.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for trade marketing activities within the on-premise channel.



3. Campaign Planning and Activation:

  • Design and implement impactful trade promotions, events, and activations to engage consumers and drive sales.
  • Manage and execute sampling campaigns, branded events, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure POS materials, merchandise, and other promotional tools are effectively utilized.



4. Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviors within the on-premise channel.
  • Track the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and promotions, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and analyses to senior management.



5. Budget Management:

  • Plan and manage the trade marketing budget for the on-premise channel, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor spending to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and ROI objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in the alcohol or FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of the on-premise channel, including market dynamics and customer preferences.
