My Client is a Filipino-owned Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain company who is in a growth mode.

Job Description

  • Responsible for the growth for Transport, Warehousing ad Value adding Services businesses through:Acquisition of new clients (Large MNS's/Large Local Companies) across the supply chain.
  • Drive Entry into new verticals, new markets, new services.
  • Build the company's presence within the SME space and gain market share in this segment.
  • Develop strategy for strong revenue growth over the next 5 years across Transport, Warehousing and VAS.
  • Provide integrated solutioning and selling of the company's various offerings across the supply chain.
  • Operationalize business development strategy through detailed market research, identification of target sectors and clients, focused client reach out, stakeholder mapping, solutioning and closure of new ideas.
  • Develop long term strategic partnerships with k clients both at country and regional levels.
  • Work with Solutions teams to develop appropriate pricing strategies across verticals with the aim to remain price competitive and gain market share.
  • Oversee Customer Service for SME clients ensuring speed of response agility and client satisfaction in close coordination with Operations Teams.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify areas of opportunity and improvement.
  • Build capability across the Organization in terms of solution awareness, pricing and negation skills, client management skills.

The Successful Applicant

  • The VP - Business Development must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience in sales and business development with track record in lead and revenue generation, preferably in the Logistics and Supply Chain environment
  • Minimum of 5 years on a leadership position.
  • Strong network within and outside the industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
