The Workforce Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing resource allocation to meet business requirements within the Finance SSC. This role involves strategic planning, analysis, headcount capacity. Partners with Tower Leads (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, Tax and Statutory) for sustainable workforce optimization.
  • To work in an established multinational SSC.
  • Ownership in a new role and handle its end-to-end workforce capacity strategy.

Job Description

  • Strategic workforce & capacity planning: Builds capacity models, translates demand into FTE needs, plans for peak periods, manages utilization, and mitigates capacity risks.
  • Data-led demand forecasting & analytics: Analyzes historical volumes and seasonality; models impacts from new entities, system changes, automation, and scope expansion.
  • Productivity, performance & cost optimization: Sets productivity benchmarks, monitors SLAs and backlogs, improves cost-per-transaction, and quantifies automation and process redesign benefits.
  • Governance, reporting & decision support: Owns dashboards, performance reporting, and monthly capacity reviews; supports budgeting, headcount planning, and leadership decision-making.
  • Financial alignment & stakeholder management: Aligns headcount with OPEX, supports hiring/outsourcing/automation business cases, and partners with HR, Tower Leads, and senior leadership.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Workforce Planning Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Analytics or any related field
  • 6-10 years experience in workfroce planning or Finance Shared Services
  • Strong financial modeling capability and excel
  • Experience with ERP (Oracle, Dynamics 365 or SAP) is preferred
  • Power BI or dashboarding experience
  • Understanding of SLA-driven operations
