Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the accounts payable team to ensure efficient operations and accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures for the organization.
  • Monitor vendor accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies when necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and review financial reports related to accounts payable activities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and other financial requirements.
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to the accounts payable team.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AP Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in accounts payable or financial management within the Retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
