We are seeking a Director, Investment Management Operations to lead large-scale operations supporting multiple investment management clients. The role is responsible for client engagement, delivery excellence, leadership development, operational improvement, and value-add growth across a sizeable portfolio of accounts.

Job Description

  • Lead investment management delivery operations across a business unit supporting a large portfolio of clients.
  • Oversee a large workforce primarily working on a remote setup.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and act as a senior point of contact.
  • Drive delivery excellence, accountability, and performance against operational metrics.
  • Identify and implement technology-enabled solutions that improve operational outcomes.
  • Develop business cases and address complex customer challenges.
  • Strengthen leadership capability and decision-making across the management team.
  • Assess operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Improve value-add service delivery and operational maturity across the function.
  • Manage financial performance, including understanding profitability, billings, and P&L drivers.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven expertise in investment vehicles and fund management operations, specifically middle office or back office.
  • Must have extensive experience in a multinational investment management company.
  • Proven client-facing leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of technology and its application to operational performance.
  • Experience leading large-scale financial services operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to hold leaders accountable and drive performance.
  • Experience developing business cases and delivering solutions to customer challenges.
  • Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Amenable to working on a night shift and hybrid work setup.
