This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial data across multiple legal entities. The position supports regional and group finance stakeholders through high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and balance sheet control. It works closely with shared services, group reporting, tax, and business finance teams.

Job Description

  • Oversee legal entity financial controlling, ensuring timely, complete, and accurate financial records
  • Review month-end close outputs and ensure compliance with group accounting policies and guidelines
  • Perform detailed analysis of financial statements and provide sign-off for group consolidation
  • Deliver clear performance reporting with strong focus on balance sheet and profit and loss analysis
  • Prepare and review variance analyses and management commentaries explaining key movements
  • Act as key finance contact for regional leadership on financial statement accuracy and compliance
  • Lead pre-close activities and coordinate with finance operations teams to resolve issues early
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and address discrepancies in collaboration with business finance
  • Support resolution of complex accounting matters and judgement-based items
  • Handle group reporting queries, audit requests, and internal control compliance requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controlling practices

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent) is preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in accounting, controlling, financial analysis, or reporting
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP; S/4HANA exposure is an advantage
  • Experience working in a shared services or multinational environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
