Our client is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Group Finance Manager to lead finance across the organization. Reporting directly to the COO, this role partners closely with key business leaders to drive financial performance, support growth initiatives, and provide insights that influence critical decisions.

Job Description

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team, delivering accurate financial visibility and translating complex data into actionable business strategies.
  • Lead group-wide financial planning, encompassing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Go beyond the numbers: deliver in-depth analysis of financial results to explain variance against forecasts and identify the root causes of performance trends.
  • Champion the adoption of AI and automation within the finance function to eliminate repetitive, manual accounting tasks.
  • Optimize our IT systems and tech stack (including Quickbooks) to improve our ability to gather real-time financial performance data.
  • Take direct accountability for the accounting, consolidation, and compliance of the entire group, overseeing the holdco, operating companies, and subsidiaries
  • Oversee the core accounting team handling AP/AR, cash flow management, and complex multi-entity reconciliations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of financial personnel (Subsidiary Finance Managers, accountants, and analysts).
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, intellectual curiosity, and operational excellence within the finance organization.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Finance Manager should have:

● Experience: Proven experience as a Group Finance Manager, Head of Finance, or similar leadership role managing multiple entities and consolidations.

● Strategic Mindset: A track record of acting as a "CFO-in-training," with a proven ability to steer operational decisions and drive growth, rather than just reporting historical data.

● Tech-Savviness: Strong proficiency with modern accounting software (Quickbooks required) and a demonstrable passion for implementing AI, automation, and tech-driven process improvements.
