Job Description

  • Develop and deliver the cybersecurity strategy, aligning security priorities with business needs and technology plans.
  • Set and maintain security governance practices that provide clear direction for security controls, policies and decision-making.
  • Lead IT risk management activities, identifying security risks and helping stakeholders manage them in a practical way.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance and align the security programme with ISO 27001, NIST CSF and SOC 2 requirements.
  • Direct security operations, including incident response, to detect, manage and resolve security events effectively.
  • Lead vulnerability management activities to identify, assess and address security weaknesses across technology environments.
  • Strengthen data privacy and cloud security practices to protect sensitive information and cloud-based services.
  • Manage third-party risk and lead the cybersecurity team in delivering agreed security priorities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head Of Cybersecurity should have:

  • Strong capability in developing and delivering cybersecurity strategy.
  • Experience with security governance and IT risk management.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory compliance, ISO 27001, NIST CSF and SOC 2.
  • Practical expertise in security operations, incident response and vulnerability management.
  • Knowledge of data privacy requirements and cloud security controls.
  • Capability in assessing and managing third-party risk.
  • Proven ability to provide team leadership within a cybersecurity function.
