Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end IT operations, infrastructure, applications, and OT systems across two manufacturing sites.
  • Act as the primary technology partner to plant leadership, aligning IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and performance of factory-critical systems, including MES, SCADA, ERP, and warehouse solutions.
  • Drive alignment between site technology operations and enterprise IT strategy, architecture, and governance.
  • Manage IT service delivery, vendor partnerships, budgets, procurement, and technology asset lifecycle.
  • Lead business continuity, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and compliance initiatives across manufacturing environments.
  • Oversee IT projects including site expansions, new production lines, system upgrades, and integration activities.
  • Develop and mentor the local IT team while driving continuous improvement through KPIs, operational metrics, and stakeholder feedback.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing IT operations within manufacturing, industrial, or factory-based environments.
  • Strong knowledge of MES, SCADA, warehouse systems, OT infrastructure, and enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience with networking, cybersecurity, endpoint management, and IT service management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams, managing vendors, budgets, and complex technology projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively from shop floor teams to executive leadership.
  • Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or an MBA/MIT qualification are advantageous; exposure to Industry 4.0, Lean, or Six Sigma is a plus.
