Job Description

  • Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to streamline supply chain operations.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor transportation and delivery schedules to meet customer demands.
  • Oversee and manage logistics staff, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Prepare and analyse logistics performance reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Logistics Officer should have:

  • A background in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics software.
  • Experience in the retail industry is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
