Job Description

The Operations Manager Invoice to Pay will

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Invoice to Pay team in Financial Services, ensuring accuracy, productivity, and service excellence.
  • Oversee invoice processing activities, including invoice matching, coding, approvals, and payment processing.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage escalations involving invoice discrepancies, vendor issues, and payment-related concerns.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive process optimisation initiatives, automation projects, and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to resolve recurring operational issues.
  • Generate management reports and ensure data accuracy across invoice-related transactions.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of Accounts Payable or Invoice Processing experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience within a shared services or finance operations environment.
  • Strong understanding of 2-way and 3-way invoice matching processes.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Proven track record in process improvement, automation, and operational transformation.
  • Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
