Job Description

  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws for Regional operations.
  • Develop and implement customs strategies to optimize import and export processes.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to streamline logistics.
  • Monitor and manage documentation for customs clearance processes.
  • Identify and address potential risks related to customs and trade compliance.
  • Provide guidance on tariff classifications and duty management.
  • Stay updated with changes in customs regulations across regions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support supply chain efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Regional Customs Manager should have:

  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international trade practices.
  • Experience in managing logistics processes within the retail industry.
  • Proficiency in handling customs documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Regional trade policies and procedures.
