Job Description

  • Supervise and manage the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial operations.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounting Team Lead should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Experience in managing accounting teams and processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
