Job Description

  • Lead the application support team to deliver efficient solutions and maintain system reliability.
  • Oversee the resolution of technical issues, ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and user experience.
  • Monitor system operations to identify potential improvements and address challenges proactively.
  • Develop and implement support processes and best practices for application management.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure professional growth and development.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather feedback and align support strategies with business goals.
  • Prepare and present reports on application performance and support activities to management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful App Support Lead should have:

  • Proven experience leading Application Support, Service Delivery, or IT Operations teams.
  • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrated success managing critical incidents and driving service improvements.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL service management principles.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications in complex business environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance operational priorities while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Experience within pharmaceutical, manufacturing, life sciences, or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
