Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee risk management programmes, including vulnerability assessments, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across all business units and supply chain partners.
  • Lead security governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with local and international data protection laws.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate security into enterprise-wide digital transformation and technology projects.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and third-party vendors to maintain a robust security posture.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organisation.



The Successful Applicant

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within food manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing enterprise-level security strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and local data privacy laws).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.



Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
