The Commercial Finance Head will lead its commercial finance function and partner closely with senior leadership to drive business performance. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Commercial Finance Head will lead a team of finance professionals while shaping commercial strategy, profitability, and decision-making across the organisation.

Job Description

  • Lead commercial finance activities to provide clear financial information for business planning.
  • Review financial performance and highlight key trends that inform commercial decisions.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to align commercial plans with financial objectives.
  • Provide timely financial insights to help teams understand business performance.
  • Help improve financial planning processes to support accurate and useful reporting.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Finance Head should have

  • Proven commercial finance leadership experience within large-scale consumer-focused organisations such as retail, FMCG, pharmacy, consumer goods, or other high-volume, customer-centric industries.
  • Demonstrated long-term career progression and strong tenure within reputable consumer businesses, reflecting the ability to build deep commercial understanding and influence organisational performance.
  • Strong track record in commercial finance, FP&A, finance business partnering, profitability analysis, and strategic decision support.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams within complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Amenable to working onsite daily
