Job Description

  • Develop and implement corporate communication strategies to enhance brand reputation.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government agencies, and industry partners.
  • Oversee the creation of press releases, reports, and other communication materials.
  • Monitor and address public perception and issues that could impact the organisation's image.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory communication requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align communication strategies with business goals.
  • Lead crisis communication efforts and provide strategic counsel during critical situations.
  • Track and analyse communication campaigns to measure their effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Corporate Affairs Head should have:

  • A degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of corporate communication practices and strategies.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and media relations.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for various communication materials.
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating reputational risks.
  • Ability to lead and manage crisis communication initiatives effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to align communication goals with business objectives.
  • Experience in the business services industry is an advantage.
