Job Description

  • Develop and implement credit risk management strategies to minimize exposure.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to assess creditworthiness of clients.
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to enhance risk models and forecasting techniques.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve credit policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the preparation of risk assessment reports for senior management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of risk metrics and portfolio performance.
  • Support the training and development of junior team members in credit risk management practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Credit Risk Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related
  • 7-10 years in SME/MSME lending, banking, fintech, or credit risk
  • Experience leading credit teams and underwriting processes
  • Strong skills in cash flow analysis, repayment capacity, and portfolio monitoring
  • Exposure to partner-led, channel, or supply chain lending is a plus
  • Solid knowledge of PAR, NPL, roll rates, and risk metrics
  • Familiar with digital lending tools and data-driven underwriting
  • Philippine MSME/SME lending experience is an advantage
