Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions that support business and risk management initiatives.
  • Analyse complex datasets from multiple sources to generate actionable insights.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and visualisation tools that empower business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into data-driven solutions.
  • Develop automation and self-service analytics capabilities to improve efficiency.
  • Support data governance, quality assurance, metadata management, and data lineage initiatives.
  • Create monitoring and reporting tools to assess and maintain data quality standards.
  • Work closely with technology teams to ensure secure data access and governance controls.
  • Explore and implement emerging technologies and open-source tools to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Leverage cloud technologies and modern data platforms to drive innovation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, IT, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or data engineering.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience using SQL and Python.
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, SQL databases, and working with structured and unstructured data.
  • Exposure to AWS services and cloud-based data solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in banking, financial services, or insurance sectors is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and related frameworks is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is beneficial.
