Job Description

1. Pre-Sales & Solutioning (The Growth Engine)

  • Customer Discovery: Partner with the sales team to lead initial client workshops, uncovering business pain points and mapping them to data-driven solutions.
  • Strategic Pursuit: Lead the technical response for RFPs and RFIs, working closely with the Global CoE to design scalable data architectures (Data Lakehouse, Mesh, Fabric).
  • Commercial Acumen: Assist the AVP in P&L management by ensuring accurate effort estimations and competitive pricing strategies for regional pursuits.



2. Delivery Oversight & Governance (The Execution Engine)

  • Program Steering: Act as the primary point of escalation for all Data & Analytics programs within the Philippines, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement best practices in Data Engineering (ETL/ELT, CI/CD) and Analytics (BI/AI) to ensure "First Time Right" delivery.
  • Customer Success: Maintain a "Pulse" on customer satisfaction (CSAT) through regular steering committee meetings and proactive relationship management.



3. Ecosystem & Talent Management (The Foundation)

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the bridge between Sales, Talent Acquisition, and the technical CoE to ensure the right resources are deployed for the right projects.
  • Capacity Building: Mentor local leads and help shape the hiring roadmap for the Philippines data practice to meet growing demand.

The Successful Applicant

  • Technical Breadth: 12+ years of experience in the IT services industry, with at least 8 years focused on Data Engineering (Spark, Snowflake, Databricks, or Cloud Comupting stacks) and Data Analytics/AI.
  • Leadership Depth: Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex data programs ($4M+ portfolio) with distributed teams.
  • Market Insight: Deep understanding of the Philippines' local business landscape and the ability to navigate regional cultural nuances in a professional setting.
  • Strategic Communication: Ability to translate complex technical jargon into business value for C-suite stakeholders.
