Job Description

  • Develop and execute real estate investment strategies for the Philippines platform.
  • Lead deal origination, underwriting, execution, and asset management across the investment lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong local networks to identify proprietary and off-market opportunities.
  • Oversee development projects and joint ventures, monitoring budgets, timelines, and partner performance.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
  • Ensure governance, reporting, and risk management standards are maintained locally.
  • Manage and grow a lean local team while shaping the long-term platform strategy.
  • Provide strategic guidance to maximize investment returns and long-term value creation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Deputy Head - Philippines - Real Estate Investments should have:

  • Strong academic background in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in real estate investment, development, or asset management, ideally within the Philippine market.
  • Proven track record of sourcing, executing, and managing property investments, including experience with institutional or foreign capital.
  • Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make independent, data-driven investment decisions and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with partners, joint ventures, and cross-functional teams.
  • Credibility with local market participants and the ability to operate autonomously while managing risk.
