Job Description

    • Partner closely with the Chief Digital Officer and senior leaders to shape and deliver the digital execution strategy, converting strategic priorities into clear portfolios,roadmaps, milestones, and capacity plans
    • Own portfolio intake, prioritisation, and delivery governance for customer-facing digital platforms and internal sales and collections systems, ensuring clarity of scope, value, dependencies, and delivery readiness
    • Lead end‑to‑end platform delivery across the full lifecycle, from concept and requirements through build, testing, release, and post‑launch stabilisation driving quality, consistency, and speed to market
    • Build, lead, and scale high‑performing Platforms & Delivery teams, including platform managers, product owners, and delivery functions, embedding strong accountability and effective ways of working
    • Establish robust release management and production readiness practices, including planning, go/no‑go decisions, rollout and rollback strategies, incident preparedness, and change control to ensure platform stability
    • Drive operational excellence across mobile and digital channels by improving performance, reducing defects, managing technical debt, strengthening integrations, and continuously optimising platform and delivery KPIs

The Successful Applicant

  • Extensive background delivering and leading large‑scale digital and technology platforms across mobile, web, and integration‑driven ecosystems
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex delivery journeys, covering demand intake, planning, build, validation, deployment, and ongoing platform support
  • Strong command of release and production governance, including readiness assessments, deployment decision‑making, contingency planning, and incident response
  • Proven ability to lead diverse, multi‑disciplinary teams spanning platform leadership, product, engineering, quality, and site reliability or operations
  • Deep practical experience operating within Agile environments, driving backlog prioritisation, sprint execution, dependency alignment, and reliable delivery outcomes
  • Solid grounding in contemporary engineering and platform practices such as continuous delivery pipelines, automation, monitoring, and reliability management frameworks
  • Track record of delivering integrated solutions across internal platforms, third‑party partners, and vendors, with an emphasis on scalable, API‑led architectures
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience defining and improving delivery and platform performance indicators, including speed of delivery, platform resilience, recovery effectiveness, and change quality
